Before you begin, note the following:

• Review the End-User License Agreement (or EULA) carefully during the installation of OpenUtilities sisHYD 2023. By installing this release, you agree to the terms and conditions of the agreement. A copy of the End User License Agreement named "EULA.pdf" will be included in the "bin/en" folder of the product installation. By default, this location is "C:\ Program Files\Bentley\OpenUtilities sisHYD 2023."
• Before installing OpenUtilities sisHYD 2023, read this document completely as well as the Requirements and QuickInstall documents, where you can find critical information important to your installation. Consult the Bentley website for the latest information on this and other OpenUtilities products.
• All delivered seed and example DGN files and cell libraries are in V8 format.

Installer Note

If you are installing OpenUtilities sisHYD 2023 to a workstation that already has an earlier commercial release of OpenUtilities sisHYD 2023 installed, the installation performs a major upgrade. OpenUtilities sisHYD 2023 will silently uninstall the existing version. Any new files or directories that were previously created in your OpenUtilities sisHYD 2023 install directories will be preserved, but any changes that were made to its delivered files will be lost.

Directory Structure

OpenUtilities sisHYD 2023's program files are installed by default to C:\Program Files\Bentley\OpenUtilities sisHYD 2023\OpenUtilitiesSisHYD\.

OpenUtilities sisHYD 2023's data folder is installed by default to C:\sis_data\.

OpenUtilities sisHYD 2023 and Color Depth

For optimal performance, graphics display color depth should be set to 24-bit or higher. When using a color depth setting of 16-bit, some inconsistencies will be noted.
